The chakra is a fine material center of life energy, also described as an energy vortex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The body has many energy points, known as chakras, both large and small, and they are connected by energy channels through which life energy flows.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, energy therapy focuses on the seven traditional chakras along the spine, from the groin to the scalp. Each major chakra has its own specific function, and each chakra also affects other physical, mental, and spiritual functions. When the movement of energy is disrupted or even blocked in the chakras, ailments and diseases begin to occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The throat chakra<\/strong> is also known as <strong>kantha chakra<\/strong> and <strong>the fifth chakra<\/strong>. In Sanskrit, it is called <em><strong>vishuddha<\/strong> <\/em>(or <em>vishuddhi<\/em>) and it come from the word <em>shuddhi<\/em>, which means \"pure\", and from the root <em>vi<\/em>, which strengthens its meaning. Therefore, the meaning of <em>vishuddhi <\/em>is \"especially pure\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-heading\"><strong>OVERVIEW OF THE THROAT CHAKRA<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location: <\/strong> in the neck of the spine at the level of the throat (larynx)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Body parts\/organs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each chakra is responsible for supplying energy to the organs and parts of the body in which it is located. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The throat chakra regulates <strong>all body functions in the throat, neck and mouth area<\/strong> and supplies energy to <strong>esophagus and trachea<\/strong>, <strong>cervical vertebrae<\/strong>, <strong>jaws<\/strong>, <strong>back of the head <\/strong>and <strong>shoulders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also <strong>ears <\/strong>and <strong>hearing <\/strong>are connected to this chakra, and <strong>breathing<\/strong> (with respiratory tract) and <strong>the sound of the voice<\/strong> (or timbre). So it is the basis of the development of our intellect and <strong>helps us find the right words and listen<\/strong>. With the help of this chakra <strong>we can achieve spiritual contact with other people<\/strong>. Therein lies the pursuit of truth, wisdom, and inspiration, which are necessary for the development of new ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People with an active throat chakra are <strong>open <\/strong>and <strong>creative<\/strong>, they <strong>know how to listen to others<\/strong> and <strong>let themselves be gladly inspired<\/strong>. The lack of energy in the chakra can be expressed in an inability to communicate, in low expression, and also in conspicuous shyness. By raising energy levels in the area, it can help coping with the ailments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you answered \"yes\" <strong>to four to six questions<\/strong> , the imbalance is not yet greatly developed, but this chakra should nevertheless be addressed and cared for, for example through aromatherapy (see recommendations below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you answered \"yes\" <strong>to less than four questions<\/strong> , there is only slight disharmony. However, so that the situation doesn't culminate further, it is advisable to deal with this chakra proactively and take care of it. But it is also very important <strong>to contribute to changing your own lifestyle and thought patterns<\/strong>to maximize the effect and keep the result permanent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a lot that you can do yourself to support and strengthen the chakras. The movement of energy can already be harmonized through conscious thinking and experience of nature. It is also possible to do various healing exercises, which we will look at below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this point, however, it is also appropriate to recall the good old grain of wisdom that <strong>everything you think, you become, and you will draw it to your life<\/strong>. Thus, in addition to various therapies and other supportive practicies, it is important to monitor and work with your thoughts and attitudes in order to keep yourself more balanced through directing your thoughts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tips for activating the throat chakra<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It is possible to constantly support your throat chakra and help it stay in balance. You can use the following tips and tricks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Learn a new language<\/strong> or update old knowledge.<\/li><li><strong>Train your voice.<\/strong> Not only is it useful for the chakra, but it is also helpful for the job.<\/li><li><strong>Relax in the nature and watch the sky<\/strong>. This opens you up to the vastness of space.<\/li><li><strong>Listen to music consciously<\/strong>, it does not matter whether it is classical or modern. It works even better when you try to <strong>sing yourself<\/strong> or <strong>play some musical instrument<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Drink <strong>water harmonized with semi-precious stones<\/strong>. See below for stone recommendations. Put the cleaned and washed stones in a container and fill the container with water. Allow the stones to charge for a while before drinking.<\/li><li>It is recommended to take <strong>relaxing baths <\/strong>for the whole body, adding to the bath some <a href=\"https:\/\/hingelaegas.ee\/product-category\/aroomiteraapia\/eeterlikud-baasolid\/eeterlikud-olid\/\">essential oils<\/a> (look for recommendations below). Examples of suitable berries and fruits are blueberries, blackberries, currants, grapes, plums, elderberries, raisins, juniper berries, apples, pears, and bitter and sour fruits (lime, grapefruit, lemon, kiwi). In addition, you can consume eggplant and red (purple) cabbage. Of the herbs and spices, the fifth chakra is supported by licorice root, slippery elm bark, cinnamon, fennel seeds, orange peel, rosemary, sage, thyme. Coconut water, herbal teas and honey are also suitable. The throat chakra is supported by various fluids, both cooling and warming, including soups. However, dairy products should be avoided.<\/li><li>Use <strong>semi-precious stones<\/strong> or wear jewelry made from them. See suggestions below.<\/li><li>Repeat <strong>affirmations <\/strong>or chant <strong>mantras<\/strong>. See recommendations below.<\/li><li><strong>Meditate<\/strong>. You can use the suggested <strong>color meditation <\/strong>described below or you can listen to different chakra-supporting meditations from YouTube.<\/li><li>If you can use <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hingelaegas.ee\/blogi\/reiki-tervendav-vagi-nii-kehale-vaimule-kui-hingele\/\">Reiki<\/a><\/strong>, you can also charge your throat chakra with Reiki. It helps release tensions and remove blockages in the chakra and activates it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The traditional mantra of the fifth chakra is \"HAM\".<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To chant a mantra, find a peaceful place where you will not be disturbed. You can sit or stand, the main thing is that you are comfortable and that your chest is open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Close your eyes and focus all your attention on the throat chakra. Once this has become the center of your awareness, you can start chanting the mantra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When repeating the mantra, try to feel yourself inside and sense the mantra. Notice the reverberation that echoes through your body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Breathe calmly and evenly. Try to find your rhythm, usually it goes according to the breathing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the beginning, practice the mantra for up to 15 minutes. If possible, repeat this often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-heading\"><strong>Color meditation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sit on a chair or pillow, your legs in a full or half lotos position, and stretch your spine. If you wish, you can also meditate lying down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out. Turn your palms up, you can support them on your thighs while sitting. Allow the whole body to relax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then turn your mind inwards and focus on the location of the throat chakra in your neck at the level of your throat. Imagine a swirl of light blue light flowing there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feel how this vortex increases when you inhale and contracts when you exhale. Watch the light blue light pulsate in the rhythm of your breathing. Continue breathing like this until you feel the chakra evenly filled with intense light blue light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you feel the pulsation of energy in your neck and you feel the energy fill the whole area from the palate to the collarbones, allow the energy to calm down. Breathe deeply and calmly a few more times. Then open your eyes and return to your everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-heading\"><strong>Healing exercise<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Lie down and close your eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rub your palms against each other until they are warm and charged with energy. If you know how to use Reiki, you can also connect yourself with the healing power of Reiki. Then place both hands gently on the neck under the chin, the edges of the palms together and the fingers facing the sides of the neck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, try to relax and release your body from tension. Focus on breathing - take a deep breath in and out seven times. Feel the light blue energy flowing from your hands into your throat chakra with each breath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be in the moment and feel and enjoy the warmth that flows through the fifth chakra.
