Red Mandarin<\/h1>\n

Origin and background<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The essential oil of red mandarin, also known as tangor, is obtained from the plant's Citrus nobilis<\/em> fruit peel by cold pressing. The oil is goldenly yellow-orange and resembles the aroma of fresh orange.<\/p>\n

Red mandarin essential oil is a soothing, uplifting, and delicate essential oil. It has uplifting and balancing properties and is emotionally comforting.<\/p>\n

Of all the citrus essential oils, mandarin essential oil is given the sweetest aroma, so it stimulates less than most other citrus oils, but it is nonetheless wonderfully uplifting.<\/p>\n

Mandarin oil tends to be a children's favorite. Thus, if wish to make children and the whole family sleep well, it can be added to an aroma diffuser or oil burner before going to bed.<\/p>\n

When used in aromatherapy, it relieves depression and relieves anxiety.<\/p>\n

Healing properties<\/h5>\n

Red mandarin essential oil is useful in body skin care products, especially for softening stretch marks. It is also useful in the treatment of acne, oily skin, and pigment spots. Helps prevent the signs of aging and makes the skin radiant. Like other cold-exctracetd oils, red mandarin essential oil can cause photosensitivity and irritate the skin. Therefore, when applying it to the skin, direct sunlight should be avoided for at least 12 hours after use.<\/p>\n

This oil is gentle in nature and is therefore suitable even for children and pregnant women. For example, adding oil in about 1-2% dilution to the carrier oil and gently massaging it on the baby's stomach will help relieve abdominal pain. However, adding a few drops of mandarin oil to a child's evening bath will help soothe hyperactive children.<\/p>\n

Red mandarin oil has a tonic and stimulating effect on the stomach and liver and is useful for digestive problems.<\/p>\n
