Bensoepuu<\/h1>\n

Origin and background<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Benzoin (Styrax benzoin<\/i>) is a balsamic resin obtained from the bark of several species of trees in the genus Styrax. These trees grow in the rainforests of Sumatra and Indonesia. The Styrax genus contains about 130 species of trees and shrubs that occur in tropical to temperate climates and are distributed mainly in three regions: Southeast Asia, from southeastern North America to South America, and one species is also found in the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n

To pick up benzoin, farmers climb almost 9 meters using rope ladders. There they make incisions in the bark to make the tree \"cry\". After about ten weeks, \"tears\" form there and are then harvested. It may seem simple at first glance, but in reality it is a physically demanding and skilled method.<\/p>\n

Benzoin essential oil has a relaxing, soothing, and grounding effect. Suitable for relieving anxiety and stress.<\/p>\n

It is recommended to use for the first chakra or root chakra.<\/p>\n

Benzoin essential oil has anti-inflammatory and antifungal, muscle-relaxing and expectorant effects.<\/p>\n

Helps relieve pain of arthritis. Also suitable for cough, bronchitis, and laryngitis.<\/p>\n
