Spruce<\/h1>\n

Origin and background<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Spruce (Tsuga canadensis<\/i>) is an evergreen conifer, a species of the pine family. The main growing area is in eastern part of North America.<\/p>\n

All conifers, such as pine, fir and spruce, are considered to be the protective trees of our planet - precisely because of their cleansing properties.<\/p>\n

Spruce oil is often added to soaps, air fresheners and household cleaners to give a fresh scent and to use as a disinfectant.<\/p>\n

Beacuse of the pleasant and soothing effect of its fresh, woody, earthy aroma, it also effectively relieves anxiety and stress.<\/p>\n

Healing properties<\/h5>\n

Spruce essential oil, made from the needles and twigs of the tree, is used for muscle aches, sprains, and stretch marks.<\/p>\n

It has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anticonvulsant, antiseptic, antiviral properties. However, it also has a disinfectant, expectorant and stimulant effect. Great for respiratory diseases (colds, bronchitis, coughs), wound healing, viral infections, arthritis, rheumatism and other muscle aches.<\/p>\n
