Tokoferool ehk E-vitamiin on looduslik toimeaine ja antioksüdant, mida võib lisada erinevatele naha- ja juuksehooldustoodetele, samuti päevitusjärgsetele toodetele. Lisades erinevatele taimsetele või eeterlikele õlidele, aitab pikendada nende säilivusaega (hoides neid rääsumise eest). Tuleks lisada preparaatidele temperatuuril alla 40°C. Soovitatav lisatav kontsentratsioon toodetes 0,1 – 0,5%.

Aitab säilitada naha loomulikku niiskust ja elastsust, takistab oksüdatsioonist tingitud naha vananemist ja võitleb UV-kiirguse poolt põhjustatud rakukahjustustega. Sellel on ka põletikuvastane toime.

Sobib igale nahatüübile. Eriti soovitatav kuivale ja küpsele nahale ning beebinahale mõeldud toodetele.
